I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, but later discovered that the west coast speaks to my soul more so than living in what I came to think of as "Dreary Erie". Right out of high school I escaped to the sunny and magical Monterey Peninsula where I settled down and have lived ever since. At one point, I ventured off to spend nine months in Los Angeles studying acting and voice, but I quickly reaffirmed that my heart was in Monterey, so I returned to my sanctuary.
Before adding wedding officiant to my list of credentials, I worked as a booking agent, band manager, bartender, prevention/intervention specialist, group facilitator, pet sitter, and massage therapist. As you can see, my passion lies in the helping and people-oriented professions.
I have degrees in Fashion Merchandising, Health Education, and Massage Therapy. I am on the board of directors for a non-profit agency that supports families who have children with heart problems.
I am raising two amazing show cats who love dressing up in costumes. Animals are an important part of my life and maybe even your wedding!
I have a passion for truth, the spoken word, grammar, communication, poetry, music, stand up comedy, and photography. I strive to cultivate soulful connections with others as I believe we are all in this together. I also believe in happy ever after and would delight in helping you craft the words that will begin your own happily ever after life.
